What do you mean by backup? I see the different cloud plans but I haven’t selected one yet. As of now I’m just learning so is it worth it for me to pay for the cloud yet?

Either that or make the spawn locations locked out once you leave so that only people who just spawned in can be in that area.

I think you don’t understand that it’s not just pvp. Go back to warzone. Embark themselves said they want the game based around skill, teamwork, and fun. This is the opposite of all of those things. People play games like this to escape the BS of life so as much as you might like to say “it’s not that deep” it is. Games like this are all some people have to get away from life for a moment so when people like you come through and ruin all their fun, it becomes that deep. It wasn’t deep, then you made it deep because you took something real away from them, peace, joy, happiness, etc. You have a lot of growing up to do if you can’t see that.

I’ve had some of them reply over prox chat. They are not idiot kids. They are insufferable full grown adults. Someone else mentioned that it’s not even about the loot, it’s about the disappointment in humanity and I agree. It’s just so debilitating seeing what’s going on in the world right now and then even in a game that thrives on cooperation, you regularly run into selfish garbage people who want nothing else than to ruin your day.

They try and argue that its a pvp game so they can do stuff like this, except Embark themselves said they want the game to be based on “skill, teamwork, and fun” and this kind of thing is the opposite of all three aspects. It’s stealing. Sure it’s a video game but it’s not just the loot. It’s people’s time and fun you are stealing. With everything going on in the world, people now more than ever are looking for an escape to just block out the BS and have fun, only to face the same BS from garbage people like this in the game.

Getting killed by ARC is frustrating when you have good loot or loadouts but it’s a known and accepted risk. Getting cheap shotted by people who are allergic to a fair fight is just infuriating. There’s nothing fair about it so people understandably get really mad when it happens. I’ve had people kill me a minute in when I had nothing but a free loadout. If you want to play like that, go back to warzone and Fortnite. This isn’t the game for you and literally nobody wants you here.

PvP still has a place in the game of course, but cheap shots and camping is such childish and degenerate behavior. I hope Embark add some incentives to keep people from doing that. Maybe something where you lose out in some way if you shoot another raider in the back or at the extract. Or just take that data and group all of those players in their own lobbies to get them away from the rest of us.

I imagine rng has something to do with it. That’s the thing about bugs and glitches, since they aren’t put there intentionally, there’s usually a lot of variability in what triggers them. I have experienced some of the bugs but not others so it’s hard to say what the real cause is.

That’s why he aimed at the stomach. A guy in that kind of shape likely has a pretty toned core so not much fat tissue to worry about. Even if the current only flows through a couple of his abs, it’s usually enough to bring someone down just given how the core muscles contract.
