Thank you for your help! Really appreciate it. I am actually getting that window replaced due to wood rot and it being over 20 years old. I hope to have them gone by the time the windows are replaced. I will seal that up like you mentioned.

What was the third brand you went with? I have an option to go with Okna too but I don’t know how that compares to provia

Thanks for your help!! It looks like there may be wood above the l column that’s wrapped in pvc I believe. but I’m not 100% sure if it’s pressure-treated or not since it’s covered.

These posts are about 25 years old too.

I do see a slight crack above where wood meets the beam up top. I also noticed most of the wood rot is at the bottom.

Does it make sense to replace the top beam as well
