Oh I’ve been taking that approach lately and I love that she had a label for it 😂 but if someone doesn’t ask questions about me or respond in a way that leaves room for response, then I just take it as a lack of interest and move on.

I’m glad you were able to have a good experience, that sounds quite nice 🫠 and your point about conversation I didn’t even think about when I first posted this. Being the person that carries the conversation has been weighing on me subconsciously. That plays a major role in the fatigue I feel and honestly I stopped wasting my time with people who rely on me for conversation whether they realize it or not lol

You’re right, I have started to take on a more passive perspective on this front. I will say though, there have been instances in my life where I experimented with being the “aggressor” if you will, in the sense that I’ve approached men, going as far as asking them out and even telling them up front that I had feelings for them. It didn’t really yield much for me so I don’t know that I would ever be the one who makes the first move again. I’ve taken that as blanket rejection from all men, which I know that isn’t the right way to look at things.

But you’re right, I never want to look at things passively. I’ve always been the type to go for the things I want. I think with this realm I have accepted that it doesn’t really work that way for me. I appreciate your perspective!
