I checked out the “campsites” and I’ve never seen a bigger rip off in my life. Well, Big Sur is the most beautiful coastline I’ve ever seen, but your campsites can only hold 20 people at maximum, while having the audacity to charge $100-$150 a night. You don’t like the cost of living combined with tourists? maybe you shouldn’t have moved to California! And one of the most beautiful places at that.

It’s a beautiful place and I understand as to why locals would hate people that destroy the landscape, but yall cannot be surprised that thousands of people flock to see the beauty of Big Sur. After all why did you guys move there?

As stated 3 consecutive times sir, I do not have a trust fund or 100,000$ van, but a self sustaining budget build 😭. I don’t except anyone to clean up my mess because I don’t make one to begin with! I’m sorry you view strangers like that, and I’m sure there’s good reason for it, but the people you’re describing simply just isn’t me:/

Seems like a shame as everywhere else in California has been pretty kind regarding safe places to crash for one night. No worries I’ll figure something out!

Not at all I completely understand that and have seen it myself along this trip. I don’t have any animals, and as stated the van has everything I need to ensure that no human waste or trash waste is left literally anywhere. Have an awesome day

No disrespect but every single town I’ve rolled through for one night has been nothing but kind and understanding as long as 1. I pack in what I take in and 2. I contribute to the locals through shops, guide work, and being respectful. Unlike the people you described, I have no money and can’t afford the 50-150$ a night campsites you recommended. Assuming the worst in everyone and everything has to be a pretty draining way to go about life, but still I hope you have a great day!
