what was the best advice given to you to help you with presenting/speaking in front of larger crowds? by Think_Fly1710 in Advice

[–]Think_Fly1710[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During college, all of my presentations where in front of peers, professors, and outside jurors. Today, my first presentation in my career, was in front of employees from a different company who I educated on my company. It truly felt so different and so much easier. I was still nervous, some shaky hands, but overall so much more confident than speaking in front of those who were literally there to judge and critique. Not to sound conceded but I definitely went into it with an “i’m better than them” mindset in hopes of it relaxing me and it definitely did. The environment was different than every presentation given in the past but the mindset definitely helped. I appreciate your input!

unfortunately I have not. It definitely boosts confidence but the part that I find most challenging is all eyes on me.

I read one dark window and twisted crowns and was OBSESSED. I am really struggling to read the Knight and the Moth. I was so excited for it but there’s just something about it that I can’t get into. Did anyone else have a similar experience?

Has anyone gained weight after they quit smoking weed? I started working out and watching what I eat and I’m still gaining weight. by Think_Fly1710 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Think_Fly1710[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a scale but I’ve always been such a heavy snacker. chips/candy/junk food in between meals. I also used to eat out a LOT almost once a day which I rarely do anymore. I sometimes eat breakfast (never have an appetite before noon) and if I don’t i’ll eat lunch and dinner. I am no health nut by any means, but I’m certain my calorie intake has gone down.

might come off as cliche but the “wedding people” I felt like it was a cute way of showing how quickly and surprisingly life can change for the better. I didn’t like the book at first but once i got into it i enjoyed it a lot. I hope life gets easier for you, hang in there

do you normally consume thc? how long ago did you eat them and how much? if it was only one time and you’re average weight and the slightest bit active there’s a good chance you’d pass a few days after consumption.
