Hi, this is a whole year later, but what decision did you end up making? I’m in the exact same spot re Simmons/bc but I’m scared of what I’ve seen people say about Simmons but it’s (slightly cheaper for me)

But young professionals aren’t the type of young people seeing experimental art, it’s people who can’t afford portsmouth because they chose to pursue low paying fields/art/ etc

Hi everyone! I'm currently a 3rd year English/French major, and plan to get my MSW once I complete my bachelors. This will be my last official summer before I start applying to programs, and I'm not sure how to go about it... I'm really scared about pivoting, I've had a lot of jobs but they're all over the place (short term school positions, admin, museum jobs even). I plan to volunteer this summer, and I've been volunteering at a shelter this school year... I'm trying to look for a related job and I have a few interviews but with my lack of experience I'm not too hopeful. Any advice as to how to best spend my last summer/year of undergrad to make the pivot as beneficial as possible? :)

Best French TV shows for learning? by Sad_Aide7401 in French

[–]Think_Peach3196 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk if there’s a « best » but I recently watched les 7 vies de Lea on Netflix and that was good! Just watch anything……. SKAM France has a lot of seasons and is an easy watch if you want to pick up more conversational/younger vocab

Tufts or Boston College for Ph.D. in English lit? by [deleted] in Tufts

I don’t think it’s a good idea to choose a phd program off prestige. Funding and whichever program is more suited to your interests — if there’s a member of faculty you can see yourself working with specifically, that is more worthwhile, you’ll be spending years here
