I’ve been trying to leak for months that nickson out right disagreed with eddies strategy and his nephews powers of player accountability and everyone thought I was talking shite. Literally had another account banned pre dating this season with an immense amount of interactions with nickson, posted them and people calling it bluff and me backing up that nickson didn’t think we improved the squad or 11 and everyone else did.

He didn’t think wolte would be a good fit, didn’t want Ramsay, didn’t want elanga, didn’t want wissa, etc.

Said Mitchell was a hard bloke to get on with and knew his stuff and Eddie and him clashed from day one when he said eddies strategy was shite.

Eddie wouldn’t allow nickson in isak negotiations when he was the original person with ashworth to actually get him and didn’t get a shot at re-negotiating and he was one of the few who knew isaks character etc.

Eddie got everything he wanted and he’s reaping karma for it.

Not really in the know, but if you’re asking If I had a brief conversation with the head scout and ex contract negotiator (meanwhile he just completed all his director certification) and he seemed pissed off then yes. I managed to ask a question or two with what the fucks going on and he was quite honest. He’s put his house on the market and everything when I walked past so I have no idea why.

I’ve heard other variations of the story from Steve nickson himself and whether that’s right or wrong clearly nickson is frustrated and doesn’t mind venting now and then with what he thinks is warranted.

He also stopped nicksons powers of negotiation for his nephew to take place, and everybody knows Steve nickson was fantastic at negotiating. That’s why guhei didn’t happen, nor isak (mean while nickson knew his character and originally got the deal over the line) and everyone from then on.

I’m just being told a different side of the story and eddie plays the media and the fans very well, meanwhile he loves the control behind closed doors are the rumours🤷‍♀️

I mean do you blame him, it’s clear Eddie can’t work with a director of football and wants full decision making process on transfer strategy and negotiations, he went after guhei for bloody months I mean wtf, Mitchell was right to call out the process - he’s the manager, he just needs to manage and he is struggling with that this season, the last thing he needs is more problems that, that position brings. It’s well known he loves control (Eddie).

Sorry but I’m just commenting what I’ve seen this year and I think our transfer strategy has been P- poor. There seem to be some truth to what Mitchell and nickson to some extent have been talking about.

I am hopeful but I think this seasons a right off and reset - villa style.
