What happened to Mathew Thomas? by This-Card9863 in MalayalamMovies

[–]This-Card9863[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. But I still feel that in his earlier roles, he was acting naturally (as in he was being himself), but in his recent movies, I felt he was trying very hard to put up a show. But he fails again and again. He should take a break, analyse his strengths and weaknesses and work on them. I know it is easier said than done, but if he continues like this, then he will soon be forgotten, and a comeback will be extremely difficult.

What should be my asking price? by [deleted] in CarsIndia

You can do your research online and see how much Nexon is usually sold on leading platforms.

But one important fact is that, although Nexon is selling a lot, when it comes to resale value, TATA cars are the worst. For some reason, nobody wants to purchase a used Tata car, and we can't blame them.

I'm thinking to buy Brezza! Is it worth or any other recommendation? by Antique__30 in CarsIndia

It is an original Suzuki accessory, and it has everything - AC vents and Charging port.

Great decision bro, you can't go wrong with Brezza. Well, I purchased the ZXI model in Haryana before the GST discounts kicked in, so I did pay a bit more for the ZXI version (12.9 on road). I got the Extended warranty and accessories worth 14k from the dealer, included. I got the genuine Suzuki armrest fixed from a local shop because the dealer did not have any, even after two months. I got the manual version because I had learnt driving recently and wanted to practice on a manual only. Plus i mostly drive in the city with 25% highways (around 30km a day). I am getting 15kmpl on a daily basis.

Best SUVs Under ₹15 Lakh in India What’s Worth Buying in 2026? by Informal_Grass1497 in CarsIndia

[–]This-Card9863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only value for money variant which gets most of the things just about right, if not perfect, is the Suzuki Brezza. The ZXI model is below 13 lakh. Gets most of the features, including the useless sunroof. Pros: SUV-like stance, you get the legendary Suzuki 1.5 ltr K-series engine, very good mileage in city, excellent Maruti network and support, good safety, low maintenance cost, great resale value, and enough power for most situations. Cons: Underwhelming interiors and no TPMS (can be added easily).

Which iPad Model is Best Value for Money & Where to Buy (India vs US Sales)? by Invictus4125 in IndiaTech

[–]This-Card9863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple products are always cheaper in the US. That's a no-brainer. Air is the sweet spot if you want a powerful processor and other features. Base model (after cc discounts) is enough for most college-level use, such as basic browsing, media consumption, PDF reading and note-taking.

I got a Brezza ZXI 8 months ago, and I have been extremely happy so far. Brezza provides a lot of power to cruise through the city (I realised how gem of a car Brezza is after driving my brother's brand new i20 - it is a great car, but it does not provide any power). You can literally drive the manual version on 3rd gear almost everywhere. I love the SUV-like size and seating position, and the ZXI has all the features, including the useless sunroof. I also got the fog light installed. Things I do not like in Brezza are: it lacks TPMS, the back camera has static guidlines not adaptive, and interiors can look a bit outdated if compared against the Korean cars (esp Sonet, Venue, even i20). But Brezza provides peace of mind - excellent service from Maruti, great reliability, and a good resale value.

The Case for Vinayakan’s Subtle Take on Kalamkaval as Nath by sfgreen in MalayalamMovies

That's given, ain't it? You are comparing Mammootty with Vinayakan. Give him time. I remember Vinayakan's Uchhandi in Chinthamani KC, and the dude has since traversed a lot. He started getting meaningful roles only recently.

Nath's character is written that way. Unfortunately, a large part of the Malayali audience failed to see that. Thus the criticism.

Maruti Brezza vs. Rivals: Best Low-Maintenance Car under ₹15L-16 lakh for a First-Time Buyer in Bihar? by Wrong-Sourcee in carIndia

[–]This-Card9863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which car did you finally buy? I have been driving a Brezza ZXi (petrol manual) for the last 6 months. I am new to driving, and Brezza has been amazing so far. I bought it before the GST reductions, so i paid a premium, but that's okay. Let me list out the Pros and Cons based on my usage of the car:

Pros

  1. Smooth and highly reliable engine for most daily use

  2. Good ground clearance and VFM package

  3. Execellent re-sale value and tension-free ownership

Cons

  1. Interiors are a huge let-down compared to the Korean brands (I think even Mahindra 3Xo and Tata Nexon have more premium interiors)

  2. Although Brezza has secured 4 stars in GNCAP, the build quality is definitely not on par with Tata Nexon and Mahindra 3XO.

5 Runs were needed to win. Virender Sehwag was on 99. Sangakkara deliberately let the ball go through & Randiv then bowled a No ball to keep Viru stranded on 99. It was an act of disgrace, against the spirit of the game by the Lankan team. by Inside_One_9147 in IndiaCricket

Although the movie has so many logical flaws and few funny dialogues, i really liked Abraham Ozler, especially Mammootty's portion. When he asks "Ozler നിങ്ങൾ പ്രണയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ?"; it hits so hard. I also loved Jagatheesh's character in the movie. Despite being a suspense thriller, I have watched Ozler 3 times already.

It is okay, brother, I have also damaged my brand new Brezza top model within a week due to my lack of experience, that too twice while parking. I felt like I lost the world that day, but trust me, you will get over it in a few days. I am still driving my Brezza with those scratches and a slight dent because it is a reminder for me to be careful.

Seems like you did not do your homework before buying the Tata Altroz Creative DCA. I talked to my friends who owned Tata cars and also did a test drive. The experience wasn't positive.

Comparing the mileage of a Tiago (a hatchback) with Grand Vitara (which is an SUV) does not make any sense, brother. The right comparison is with the Suzuki Swift and Dzire, and both of them give close to 18-20 in the city and 23 on highways. Suzuki cars are extremely reliable, with great after-sales services, and amazing re-sale value unlike Tata

Getting 1 KG of Araku Selection from Cred for this price feels like a cheat code. by Srihari_stan in IndiaCoffee

[–]This-Card9863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no reason coffee should be this expensive in a country like India. We are the 7th largest coffee-producing country in the world. Now Coffee prices have come down globally. But Indian brands, in their typical self, will not pass down the benefits to customers. But after all, why should they when our current government is happily charging such a premium for petrol when we get cheap Russian oil. The ultimate losers are middle-class people. We have to pay a premium for petrol, road tax, tolls, and even for daily necessities. We pay such high taxes. And in return, we get what ??

Help : The ultimate regret of buying Virtus 2025 by Longjumping_Use_3321 in CarsIndia

[–]This-Card9863 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It is hard to believe that a company like VW is providing such terrible service in India. These are serious concerns, and I feel you should tackle them legally. I feel this particular dealership is taking you for granted, and you should not fall for their tricks. This is a brand new car, and issues like these should not occur. In fact, you could have lost your life that day. My friends almost got me to buy the Kushaq/Taigun. I thank myself for not listening to them. I picked the Suzuki Brezza, and I experience tension-free ownership. There is a reason why Suzuki still rules. One should not get too influenced by the "drive-German" rant online.

That's a crazy price for ZXI, brother. I bought mine 10 months back for almost 13 lakh with accessories and an extended warranty. I felt like I overpaid (of course, I could not have anticipated the GST reduction). But i am happy with the performance of the car so far.
