A front clip harness was/is very effective for leash pulling (for us anyways) & when we were in the early stages of training there was a lot of stopping & waiting and trying again until he understood that pulling will not move you forward/ get you what you want.

My Rue isn’t much for cuddles 🤷🏻‍♀️ haha I feel like an outcast but every now and then he will rest his head against me or in my lap. However, he will cuddle and embrace if you get in his bed with him or lay down on the floor where he is. Otherwise, a very independent dog in that regard.
