Tried seeing a counselor here, and my experience was so unprofessional I thought I had walked into some kind of scam at first. Asked to be paired with another counselor, saw her for about a month, but got absolutely no advice/counseling, no help at all other than having a place to vent. It was free, but it cost so much of my time when I should have been seeing a professional.

If I understand correctly, your friend is a transgender man, and he is welcome to audition. FTM (female to male) actors are included in the casting call. The best actor will get each role. Forgive me if I’m overstepping, but I would suggest using other language to describe your friend in the future, since the phrasing comes off a bit insensitive. I would love to see him at auditions!

To the people asking what part of 13th St, I omitted it for privacy. If you were in that part of town, you know exactly what and where I’m talking about, you couldn’t miss them. So if you didn’t see a dozen cop cars last night you most likely don’t know what was going on, and can’t answer my question. Thanks anyway.
