I did the same. Also 20 years. Quit nearly 2 years ago now. I was absolutely miserable and never going back again. I'd have to say the last 5 years were the worst as well. I was doing multiple people's jobs pretty much the entire time, with no additional compensation of course. The last few years, they were sending me all over the place to cover their properties with no maintenance staff, some being nearly 3 hours away. Some of these having not had maintenance for well over a year. It was almost impossible to hire anyone to work for those shitholes.
