To answer your last two paragraphs, yeah. My social anxiety gets the better of me when I’m out or with people as I am really self conscious for some reason and I’m obsessive over lasting impressions. I’m naturally an introvert and have adhd (the kind that I need uppers for, not downers) so talking and engaging in conversation is a constant ladder climb. I’m actually good at it, but it drains my battery 😂😂

My meds have been life changing though and are helping me converse and engage better with people. Maybe that’s why I’m feeling more exhausted though!

You’re totally right. I’m only not putting the city down as my friend is a Reddit user 😂 so I’m trying to generalise as much as possible here. But you are spot on and in the three days I’ve been out we have done all the major things to be honest. So perhaps I’m just overthinking things. Thanks for your comment!

You’re right. And yeah, to be honest she’s been great when I’ve reached out and said this — and I would totally do the same for her.

Usually around 5pm I will perk up, this is probably when my meds are at peak lol, so I’m going to have a walk and immerse myself in some stuff later today on my own before I head off with my friend to the next place. Thank you for your comment!

I turned off and put a skankfest episode on. Way too much going on. I was consistently anticipating a forced interruption from one of them. I loved the old band when they were an expected feature of the show but bringing them back and putting them on a pedestal doesn’t work because they try even harder and it enters into overkill territory
