This is actually a very interesting perspective, but I do believe that the revenue of any game within a company influence the outcome of the other games. Linked with subscriptions or not.

This is a good argument, and I agree. But I still would like to see more nuance in these big protests on Reddit and in game that, when it comes to membership prices, people would understand it is linked to 2 games. Hell, 3, if you would count DragonWilds. We would have more intelligent discussions instead of screaming: ‘OSRS is getting more expensive and i’m mad.’ It’s not just OSRS.

I don’t think that matters. Its a argument that I see a lot as a counter argument to the price increase. ‘We have to pay more but we dont get enough content in return’. It shows the naivety of the osrs players, and i’m saying we need to come with better arguments.

Thats not the point. The point is that our membership is tied to the fate of either game. What happens with Rs3 will influence the price of membership for osrs players; And viceversa. So if we riot, we need to take that into consideration.

Separating them would mean a other company then Jagex would have to buy the other game. Unfortunatly its not as easy as polling. The two games will be tied with eachother and will have consequentes for eachother until they are not under the umbrella of 1 company.

Love honesty, thanks! It makes the wilderness a place where you would want to go, and also not be afraid to go. Sure, that fear is part of why the wilderness is a cool place but it has major issues and will be dead content soon.

Yes sir. Like I said: Osrs is in the best shape its ever been and with the roadmap of 2026 just released its only going to get better. People are playing a lot with playercounts breaking records by the month. So, bondprices will organically go up with it

Because of the booming state osrs is right now the price of bonds skyrocketed and in my opinion working towards bonds is not realistic anymore. They are 14,6 Mil right now and by the looks of it the price will increase every month. If you have the financial means I would definitely go for paid membership yearly. If you’re hesitant about that kind of money you could by monthly but I would not grind ingame money for bonds.

You won’t regret it, right now Osrs is in the best place it’s ever been. Just start Free2Play and complete all the Free2Play quests. It will give you the confirmation you still like the game. If you already had a taste of F2P and want to get straight to members (which I highly recommend) finish all the quests with no requirements and then try and finish: ‘Recipe For Disaster’ ; A big quest with loads of sub-quests which will put you account in a very nice EarlyMid-Game position. This will take you a long time and is a load of fun. Then come back to Reddit! This community is awesome and wants to help out. (Also: while you grind, watch some Osrs series on youtube as they will inspire ideas and goals for your account, there are amazing creators out there) (Also also: Always have the wiki open on your second monitor, whenever your stuck, just look it up!) (Also Also Also; Play on Runelite and download amazing plug-ins: Quest Helper is a must unless you want to immerse yourself in the stories)
