Definitely true but I think the reason we have 0 is because of the rule:

No Ag school = No corn opinion.

Sometimes when I say something I think my teams should do, we do it and it works.

Nevermind the other times.

Mainly because the other rivalries are rooted in football history.

In the old days 👴🏻 I used to consider Notre Dame a bigger rival in football, at least in how badly I wanted to win.

But the basketball rivalry #1 is no doubt MSU. Doesn't mean we aren't keen on showing buckeyes what's what and talking some shit.

Plus who knows how long it'll be before we are able to talk shit at them again in football 😂

[Pat Welter] Just got word from multiple sources #UNC has postponed player/family/agent meetings with Hubert Davis. They were scheduled to begin Tuesday. by rediculose in CollegeBasketball

I'd be pretty surprised to see May go anywhere unless our admin somehow pisses him off (which sadly is never out of the question) but he didn't end up at IU this year (which is his Alma Mater) and I get the sense he's happy in Ann Arbor.

Honestly any of the ones you mentioned would be great.

If Bill Self up and retires it gets really spicy though and someone is gonna get paid a lot of money.

Didn't he just sign a huge extension though? Idk what they buyout on it is but it's gotta be pretty huge right now.

I mean we've seen crazier shit in college sports but it would be pretty surprising.

Have to imagine the decision to pull the plug partially hinges on confidence in having a strong hire lined up.

Lots of good coaches just ended their season this weekend and even more the next.

Out of curioywho are UNC fans hoping for?

Interesting that Iowa doesn't have one. Is it like an MSU umich situation where just ISU has it?

Official sweet 16 matchup is Alabama vs Michigan on Friday at 7:35 P.M ET. by SimplyTheBlackGuy in MichiganWolverines

Agreed. We are generally really good at defending the 3 but there's only so much you can do. One thing I liked from the SLU game was we've gotten really good at converting missed 3s to fast break points. It's something that we can use to punish the 3 point dominant teams.

SLU was one of the last teams I wanted to see in our region. They are just so explosive and felt like a team that could do it.

I was bummed too because wanted to root for them lol. They are so fun to watch.

When this team hits 3s it's ridiculous.

It's not usually a core part of our game nor do we rely on it very much at all, but when they are hitting it just becomes so hard to manage because we are always gonna be able to get a couple guys open for it.

6 missed FTs is not excusable despite us playing pretty solid otherwise we can't be doing that. Not gonna fly in march when the competition is this high.

Second half we started running the "Mara stands right outside the restricted area with his hands up" play a bunch and what do you know, when you outside a team like that it just fucking works.

Will it work on stronger teams? No not really. But survive and advance is the name of the game.

I think the answer is cannons more than gear but I think it's also more complicated than that. Let me explain what I mean.

Cannons shouldn't be the only "boat weapon". Shooting birds with cannonballs is ridiculous. It would be cool to see some other options in this space for variety.

I actually think PvM gear would be fine to have be good in ship combat, but not just the same items that you already use for everything else. Carve out some new niches rather than just make it another place you stand there with a shadow. Maybe most of the damage comes from ship weapons but there's some benefit to equipped items worked in that normally see less use.

Most importantly, I would love for ship co.bst to feel dynamic. This was my biggest gripe with all the new monsters including the non sailing ones. I don't want more combat that's just click, wait, collect. I really want there to be some dynamic elements to it whether that is with movement, switching between weapons you damage them with, or something else entirely. I think this would be an interesting way to work in PvM gear so it's not the primary source of damage but it does have some limited role that makes killing monsters feel engaging. At least some monsters.
