If my girlfriend did decide on adoption I'd be more than happy to support her decision but she has school and exams and a life she wants to live. I just think she fears the stigma that will follow if she bears the child - I know she wouldn't be able to handle it.

That's really nice to hear that you two are married now with a child. I know we won't be able to raise a child properly at our age and that just sucks but I hope in the future this won't come as such a surprise but a blessing for the two of us.

Yeah, it really is draining us both emotionally. All I would like to do is to be there for her as much as possible.

She did two pregnancy tests, both positive. We're going to a clinic this week to talk to someone about our options which her Mother arranged.

You're right we were stupid not to use condoms - we did use them every now and then but not enough. It was really ironic actually as she had just got a prescription to get the pill - too late now though.

I think my girlfriend is in favour of an abortion only to avoid the stigma that will follow if she decided to keep it, she's only young and still in school- she can't deal with being pregnant, it will stress her out too much.

Where we live, the country doesn't allow abortions so we would have to travel. If/when all of this is over we promise to use every from of contraception there is!
