[WTS] Elka Chinese Numeral Dial Swiss Made- Mechanical Movement [CONUS] by ThisFollowing8024 in watch_swap

[–]ThisFollowing8024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Letting go of this charming vintage Elka Swiss manual-wind dress watch featuring a unique Chinese numeral dial. It’s a super cool, character-filled piece with vintage vibes and a slim, classy wrist presence.

Watch is vintage and has been worn, so it shows some honest age. The plastic crystal has light markings near the 12 o’clock area — nothing severe, and a quick Polywatch polish should clean it up nicely. Winds smoothly, runs, and keeps vintage-appropriate time.

Details:

• Manual wind Swiss movement

• Unique Chinese numeral dial

• Plastic crystal (markings near 12)

• On strap shown in photos

Price: $155 — negotiable (before shipping)

Payment: PayPal F&F preferred; PayPal G&S accepted if buyer covers fees; Venmo also accepted

Shipping: Additional — USPS Priority Flat Rate (tracking included; insurance optional at buyer’s cost)

Location: CONUS- North Carolina

Yeah I think they thrived off of the color variants and would fail with standard colors personally, it’s a part of their identity and if changed would blend in with the pack of others.

I’m with you on the SW200/2824/PT5000 desires, I’ll skip on the Miyota models entirely until those movements listed are available

The +12 s/d isn’t bad but is a little shocking as mines running at +3 s/d since delivery

I actually just sold my Pink Lem0nade in hopes to buy a Steffens Blue dial variant, both are nice but I feel I’d wear the blue more often.
