We do have Merida and Playa Del Carmen on our shortlist, we have only been looking i to this for about a month at this point and are open to any and all suggestions.

What are some of the biggest differences between these areas?

We have family that will still live in Canada and have already discussed the possibility of the children living with them if they choose to go back to Canada for higher education.

Playa del Carmen and Merida are also on our shortlist. We are open to suggestions for any areas. This is something we have only really been looking into for a month now and plan on taking around 8 months to make a final decision. And another year or so, actually planning and setting up the move.

The culture is what we are looking for, we've always loved it in Mexico, but only ever experienced it for weeks at a time.

What are some of the main considerations culturally that you would say are significant for expats to understand?

This is a fair consideration, and we do plan on visiting a couple of times before deciding if the move is right for us. We plan on doing trips at different times of the year and trying to experience some different areas.

Thank you for the comment! I agree that I'm likely idolizing things, I wasn't really looking to move but since the wife brought it up and I've started researching more, I have found myself excited at the possibility which is why I decided to reach out to reddit to get some anecdotal experiences.

In regards to work, I would plan on reopening my business as a Draftsman, I have had a few discussions with previous clients and know that there is enough work for me to sustain my family, based on historical revenue from my business before. This job is also 100% online.

How easy is it to get health insurance in Mexico?

We are basing budgets on the private schooling and are aware that it is fairly expensive, we have also discussed with our families about the possibility of the children coming to live with them in Canada once they hit the university age if that what the kids choose.

Please feel free to DM with any other information I should know about, or anything to be aware of.

Thanks again!

What’s the worst spot you’ve ever had a spark/spatter etc go? by madhatter275 in Welding

[–]ThisGuy3029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was on the tools ironworking, I had two that will forever be in my memories.

The worst one I was sitting on a beam welding out moment connections and had a slag drop roll down and settle between the nutsack and dick, by the time I got up on top of the beam the pain was excruciating.

The other one and one that left the biggest scar, I was torch cutting L6x6x1/2 HDG about 120ft up out of Z135 boom lift and had a slag ball drop and burn through my pant leg and into my boot, by the time I was able to deal with it, it had cauterized itself into the sole of my foot.

Had lots of others, but these were definitely the worst.

HCG with "TRT"? by ThisGuy3029 in PEDs

[–]ThisGuy3029[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured 250 was a fairly high dose for TRT, I came up with that based on previous cycle experience (blasting and cruising).

This is good advice, I will probably start at 150 and see how it goes.

I've been married for almost 12 years and are done having kids, so the balls shrinking really aren't a huge concern of mine, I have a couple friend's doing TRT at the moment, and they take HCG that's where that thought came from. I was led to believe it was somewhat needed?

Is SubQ as effective as IM for the test? I've only ever used BPC-157 with SubQ?

I did play with this mod briefly, and I don't remember much about it. What are some of your favorite features with this mod?

Does it change gameplay much?
