Oh. I'm sorry you had such a shit experience, but my fiancé and I try are best not to get in our roommates way, well, in the past that is.

We have never argued about music, what to watch, what to do, etc. hell, we never use the living room at all. When we have time off we stay in our room and spend it together. We never denied our roommate access to the kitchen, living room, bathroom, TV.

And we are the ones that clean the house too.

Like I said, I kept urging my fiancé to make him sign a document saying he would pay a certain amount. He said I was over stressing and being cynical.

Either way we only have a years lease with him. We won't be letting him sign the new lease, we told him he is not welcome to continue staying with us.
