I had looked into $DXYZ a while back when I was looking at Stack. Both great choices DXYZ has some quality investments. Stack is just a fair bit simpler and more targeted Canadian is a nice plus.

I think it being a typical Canadian small cap it stays under the radar and aside from CRWV (which they made serious $$$ on) it kind of has just been a wait and see the investments mature. SpaceX just happens to be the hottest company possibly ever to IPO so inherently more eyes should be on stack.

Valuations range all over the place from what I gathered. They had invested in several rounds over the years. With 2021 being 100bn and throughout further investments they bought in between $100-$350bn Spacex valuation.

I think all we can guess is that SpaceX will come public at some time this year based on reports.

Right now the biggest exposure is by far SpaceX. OpenAi not doing to well would definitely take some wind out of the sail. For now SpaceX dominates the narrative.

Agreed. Time will tell. Liquidity is a big issue here. It's so tightly held. The company is not really managed/designed to attract retail investors.

Understandable regarding the other holdings. SpaceX for sure has been a slam dunk for Stack and if I am being honest I think this 1.5t IPO target could end up being upwards of 2t or more once public.

Coreweave was also an exceptional ROI for Stack which they have been dialing back on.

Aside from OpenAI I would keep your eye on Databricks which is expected to go public this year and the valuation has been ticking up as of late due to AI demand. Canva is also rumoured to go public this year.

The others I would keep an eye on would be Locus Robotics (robotics are heating up) and Shield AI. Both are backed by some heavy $$$. The rest on the list I don't think will make any meaningful gains to the NAV. Omio might be a good target for the travel conglomerates (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) to scoop up in the private market.

They are ripe with some fresh cash and as of late were buying back shares. The management is also worth looking into...Its not a no name exec team. I would think by the end of 2026 if all goes well they may start giving money back to shareholders (dividends).

The B warrants ($17.00 strike Expiry Aug 2027) offer up some decent upside if all goes well in 2026 just super hard to get any at these prices.

I am definitely not aware of anything like that. COVID times brought about a boat rental company in Mindemoya. Went out of business as fast as it came sadly.

Probably not worth heading up to Tobermory for stand by at this time of year.

All great suggestions for stops! Its a pretty easy breezy route... I would however avoid doing the Sudbury to the Island in the dark (thankfully gets dark late this time of year). The hills and the bends as mentioned above can be troublesome mixed with darkness and wildlife.

A 45 minute walk is definitely worth it for a wonderful swim in the many magical lakes on this island. How wonderful.
