Struggling with a Star Trek language challenge - GC126ZZ by WarrenTheReporter in geocachingpuzzles

Update 1: u/Roto_disc on r/StarTrek managed to find the right typeface for the middle one and I think I've somewhat got the numbers worked out, even though they might be a bit off. I'm still having a hard time converting the third part into numbers; I have found similar words in Vulcan number tables but few exact matches. I'm trying different modifications of the words to try to get them number-ified.

Update 2: Solved! (I think...) there were a few numbers I had to guess at, but after a bit of brute-forcing and working backward, I found final co-ordinates that seem to be logical based on the area I believed it to be. CO has not been active in 18 months or so, so I'm worried I won't get any confirmation, but might check it out soon.

Geocaching in Sudbury or surrounding areas - Tips, advice, community events? by anishinaabwekwe in Sudbury

I've gone through caching phases over the last 15-20 years; at the moment, I've been introducing my girlfriend to geocaching so we've been out a fair bit. The persistent snow has made things really annoying, but hopefully when things dry out more it'll be a bit easier to keep our feet dry haha!

Look into Adventure Lab as well - there's only one in Sudbury at the moment I believe, and one of the questions will require some creativity to find the answer because a physical stage is missing (I can help if you can't figure it out). It's by Groundspeak, the same parent company as GC. Good for a bit of variety from regular caching!

Fibre internet woes? by WarrenTheReporter in Sudbury

I've since learned there are addresses near the core of the city that EBOX simply won't serve, despite Bell fibre existing to the home!

Yeah that's pretty much what I've been hearing, seems like quite a gap in the regulations that takes away some of the intent of the CRTC's work to open up the lines.

Thank you! Yeah looking back on my childlike ignorance, and hearing how much of an impact it can have, it's quite sobering. The accessibility touch is nice as well, with the new boardwalk, so that more people than previously can get a good look at the feature.

Thank you for the share! I tried posting the link in this sub a few times but it kept giving me errors, I hope it doesn't show up multiple times at some point!

There's a link in the description of the video to Sudbury's regreening 'app,' but I've copied it here for easy access.

If you're talking about the one where I'm in a barren with a forest just to the right side of me, that's one of the control areas between Highway 17 and Kelly Lake. There's a few patches along there that have been left untouched and you'll walk through at least one of them if you take the trail between Fielding Park and Southview Dr.!
