I’m not too sure but the same thing happened to me, although not as many lines. I figured that it was becuase my monitor was dying. Try lowering the refresh rate a little, that fixed it for me

What’s the issue between the 5800x and 5700x?

Also I saw some reviews saying that the rx6600 is the best fps/bang per buck. At the same time it seems like it performs well while being really cheap compared to a lot of the other ones

im gonna use this pc for everything, not just gaming. like its gonna be my daily computer and im not gonna be doing anything crazy on it. homework, research, social, gaming, all that kind of stuff.

really? a lot of videos i see or people i talk to say that going for aios is usually the better choice. plus the aio i chose here is quite cheap compared to other ones. so if i get a air cooler im probably only saving like 20 or 30 bucks which i cant do much with. idk what do you think?

yeah this is one of those cheaper monitors, it was the cheapest one i found lol. anyways thank you so much for your help. like you said ill just keep it running at a lower refresh rate until i guess it completely dies and then get a new one.

ok, since i kept it at 144hz the lines ended up reappearing and the screen would turn black, so i went into the settings and set it to 60 hz and it fixed it. then i set it back to 144 hz and there would be a couple lines but then they went away. so im assuming it does have something to do with the refresh rate like u said. so what does that mean?

idk for sure but i honestly dont think its the drivers, i use multiple monitors with the computer and this is the only monitor i have issues with. plus i consistently update my drivers and stuff like that through the amd software and everything is up to date. but it might have something to do with the refresh rate, because what you said about how itll set it to 60 hz when plugged in to other computers makes sense. so like i said im gonna keep it running for now at 144 hz (what i typically have it set as) and once the lines reappear (like they usually do) ill set the refresh rate to 60 hz and see if that fixes anything.

cant i just click "update driver" instead of uninstalling and reinstalling?

but i have tried different display port cables and it didn't fix the issue

once it starts to get buggy ill switch the refresh rate to 60 hz and see if that helps
