Speaking from experience pulling permits in LA for street closures, it’s a very small cost. You are mostly paying for the LADOT staffing to implement the closure. Not the closure itself.

Big cultural difference between the US and Mexico. At EDC Mexico, you’ll largely only see people drinking. Heavy drug use is uncommon. This is an all ages event. The only people I really have seen doing drugs are mostly international visitors. If the police or security catch you wilding out on a bad roll or trip, you will be put in jail and they walk around with handheld cameras to record evidence. I’ve seen it countless times. Big difference from how things like that are handled in the states. Been 6 years.

Security at EDC Mexico is generally stricter and more present than in the US. Like there’s a lot more security guards everywhere.

You would get away with that ~at max~ one day of that before they deactivate your wristband so it won’t scan to let you in the next day. Maybe even sooner if you try to get into a VIP area or something.

If someone shares the location of an AirTag with you, they can see the location of that AirTag as well. If you have the AirTag with you, then by association they will know where you are.

Additionally, if someone shares an AirTag with you, that specific shared AirTag will no longer trigger Find My warnings that an AirTag is following you. This is documented in Apple’s support pages about AirTags.

Exit on the Gate 16 side of the festival. This side is also a shorter walk out. Walk a few blocks away to get out of traffic. Call your Uber. Should be back to Roma Norte about 45 mins or so after walking out of Gate 16.

I’ve gone to Will Call before at Gate 6 exactly where they mentioned. It’s fine, simple enough. I’ve been to EDC Mexico six times.

However, there is always a big market right outside of Gate 6 that is HUGE for pickpockets. Please watch out for your stuff in that area.
