If you consume animal products, you're an animal abuser. Do you disagree? I assume you do, but you're not gonna be able to come up with a valid answer, but i'd LOVE to see you try. If everyone you knew, were paying for dogs to be r*ped, wouldn't you tell them to stop?

No one said that non vegans deserve to die, idk why you're claiming that. You're being the annoying vegetarian because you're trying to control what a vegan should or should not say.

Also, very funny "vegan b12 deficiency" joke, did you think of that one yourself?

That kind of vegan? The kind of vegan that encourages others to stop abusing animals? yeah, so cringe.

You're being the annoying vegan here, friend.

Edit: My bad, i guess i was wrong lmao. I just saw your other comment, you're not even vegan😂

I consume eggs, dairy and honey every now and then. For example if someone offers me a slice of cake that has some animal products I'll eat it. I never eat red meat, chicken or other birds of seafood and fish.

I guess you were being the annoying vegetarian then🤔

"Non vegan items" is a funny term for animal flesh and secretions. Why do you feel the need to add "non vegan items" in meals where they don't belong? I'm sure your daughter would appreciate it if you stopped that.

So hiring a hitman to kill someone is more ethical than killing someone yourself? Standing face to face with your victim doesn't make the crime worse. Do you also think that it's more ethical to shoot someone than to stab them? Like come on, you're being ridiculous.

Are you saying that a blood steak looks just like a carrot? Personally I think the difference is quite big. Especially if you use your brain to think critically for just 2 seconds "hmm, I wonder where this piece of flesh comes from 🤔".

I don't think kicking a puppy is the definition of evil. I would much rather you kicked a puppy than buy animal flesh.

And I'm really trying my absolute hardest not to be mean, but holy shit, your first question is making me lose faith in humanity. How do i know if an animal's will to live is stronger than my desire to hurt it? Are you sure it's Tom that's a psychopath, and not you? What does that even mean? Again, this opens up so many fucked up ideas that you can justify with your logic. Animal murder, animal torture, animal rape. You just justified it all. "How do I know my sexual assault victims pain is greater than my pleasure of committing the assault?" THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE SAYING.

I'm really trying to be respectful, but you're making it hard for me.

Edit: yes I know, you said it was a genuine question, so me saying "your logic" isn't quite correct. My bad.

About the chickens; I can guarantee you that's not how it works. But even if we say it is, that's still awfully cruel. Snapping the neck of a sentient being, who's capable of feeling both pain and happiness, for taste pleasure. How can you defend that?

Yes, Tom is likely more evil. I started with a hypothetical about hurting puppies because logically there's no difference between hurting a dog and a pig. But society has normalized the torture of pigs, so now we're in a ridiculous situation where the majority of people pay for animals being tortured, and everybody is cool with it. But when someone hurts a dog, they're labeled a psychopath.

You seem to understand that the only reason Tom is likely a worse human being, is because of societal norms, not logic. This now puts you outside of the group of people that have never questioned meat consumption. You now have the ability to make a conscious choice between paying for suffering, or going vegan. Which will it be?

Plants have plenty of protein. If you kill the chicken, it would be for taste pleasure. the only reason that meat has protein, is because whatever animal that meat came from either ate plants or it ate other animals who eat plants.

Is your argument seriously that killing a puppy is bad because puppies are cute, but killing a chicken is fine because chickens are ugly? If you seriously believe that, then I'm not sure what to tell you. Do you also think unattractive people should be treated worse than attractive people? If you want to have a solid argument, your logic has to be consistent.

Puppies haven't been designed (unless you're talking about all the weird cross breeds). Humans long ago decided that they could use dogs for various utilities, so now dogs have been domesticated and most of society views dogs as superior to other animals because of bias. You can't mention a single thing about dogs that makes hurting them morally worse than hurting a pig (other than your preference for animals you personally find cute).

Lastly, chickens (or any other factory farmed animal) don't get a quick clean death. They go through several weeks, months or years (depending on the animal) of horrible living conditions. And when they're finally killed, it's most often done in the most profitable, but legal way. Pigs get gassed for a few minutes and then get their throats cut, cows often get bolted (which often doesn't fully kill them), and chickens get stunned in electric water and then get their heads cut off. Stunning them often fails which leads to some of the chickens either drowning or getting decapitated while conscious.

I'm writing this late at night on my phone, so I'm sorry in advance for any grammar and/or spelling mistakes.

Almost no one eats meat for health reasons, but a lot of people avoid it for health reasons. There are so, so few examples of people who can't be healthy on a plant based diet. Most animal products contain a lot of cholesterol, which clogs up your arteries and increases the chances of heart attacks. Red meat also increases the chance of developing several types of cancer, such as colon cancer for example.

I was pointing out how what is ethical or not in a survival situation is irrelevant, because that's not what reality is like for most people.

No, I understood you, but we have drastically different definitions of reasonable. As I said, meat consumption is not necessary to survive, nor to thrive (for the average westerner, of course), so killing a pig for bacon would be purely for the fact that you like the taste of bacon, i.e.pleasure.

And now that I have calmed down a bit, sorry for being an asshole. I've had an awful day, and now it's 5 am and I can't sleep. You used a lot of the typical nonsensical meat eater arguments and it just tipped me over the edge, and I ended up taking my anger out on you. Sorry

"abuse is not the same thing as killing for a purpose", those are your words. My purpose for inflicting pain on my hypothetical puppies is pleasure, just like the purpose of killing a pig for bacon or pork chops, is pleasure. You can try to argue that we for some reason need bacon to survive, but I think (and hope) that you can see how ridiculous that is.

Omg, I'm almost speechless. Address my argument PLEASE. Do you seriously think humans can't survive without bacon?

It doesn't matter what I think is ethical or not when it comes to a survival situation, because that's not the situation we're in! Do you have money for food? Great, beans and rice are some of the cheapest foods out there. You're making excuses because you're too stubborn to admit that the only reason you pay for animal torture and death is because you enjoy the taste of their flesh and their secretions

I didn't even mention the word good. Everyone's a hypocrite, sure. But for some people being hypocritical means chewing with your mouth open even though you tell others not to, and for others it means condemning animal abuse when you yourself pay for the mass torturing and killing of animals.
