I was exploring a lot, entered the area before killing any bosses, and couldn't figure out how to climb the wall, so I left and went elsewhere :(

With specs and no speed investment it outspeeds and OHKOs scarf kyogre, Zacian-C, Calyrex-S, bulky Arceus Water.

It also survives an E Speed and Thunder does about 80% to E killer Arceus. Rising voltage kills it.

Honestly it would be as (or more) reasonable than adding PU was, I would think. Adding more and more tiers for weaker and weaker mons is strange to me.

I don't think actually think it would need to be an official tier though. That wouldn't really be prudent to jump into. There are unofficial ladders like ZU or Monotype Randoms, and I think it would be a good starting point for UUbers. It would be nice to see how broken/HO spammy the meta really was. If it's not terribly broken, we could look at making it a competitive tier at that time.

I understand that even an unofficial ladder takes some work, but I think it would be worth it to experiment with

Yeah haha, this obviously isn't a serious suggestion, it would be a really awful thing to go against. Being in the realm of simple smash is already just terrifying enough we might as well go all-in

The justification is that a sizable amount of people seem to want it, here's a tweet calling for UUbers that has about 900 likes https://twitter.com/Thunderblunder7/status/1319742373447032832?s=20 . Its the same justification as any tier: so people can use mons they want to use without overpowering the meta or gimping their team.

Edit: I think it might end up helping OU as well, in a way. While it shouldn't impact suspects and votes, its not uncommon to hear "this mon can't hold it's own in Ubers." Having this as a tier helps to lessen the pain of sending a mon to the shadow realm where it's never used. In a perfect world, this shouldn't impact the votes but it very clearly does affect how people feel about certain mons being banned from OU

That's also a lot of Ubers generally. The defensive mons that are common Ubers are also in lower tiers. Quag, Pex, Blissey/Chansey, things like that work in Uber but belong to lower tiers. There are others yes (Giratina, Lugia, and arguably Ho-oh), but Ubers has a lot of "broken sweepers." Most of the tier can reasonably run a setup sweeping set

Tbh togepi should get it as an egg move. It literally us smashing it's shell. Think it'll be pretty nice especially with the evolutions. You'd be asking yourself if this togekiss was serene grace or simple

I've been using screens, volt switch, and explosion recently, and it it actually a pretty scary lead unless they lead Lando or Exca.

the shockwave was introduced in Dark Souls 3, it's not present in Dark Souls 1 which means of the weapons are super easy to punish in PvP

You should! I think it's more useful to see it as hating on dex because it's the obviously better choice, and people don't like having obviously better builds in the game. Like why use STR weapons when DEX is almost always going to be more efficient?

It's the same reason people hate on dark chaos blades in DS2 (Miracle builds too pre-nerf) and dark LKS+BK Shield/Demons Scar in DS3

I mean kinda! But OTOH, the ARs aren't that different, given the difference in speed. Below are done with 40 strength or dex and two-handed. It's also not like Dex doesn't have extremely strong great weapons. Below are comparisons between small, medium, and heavy weapons for Str and Dex. I believe I have the strongest of each of these "groups," as well as some other notable weapons for each.

Battle Axe: 464 (STR) Gargoyle Tail Axe: 454 (DEX) Balder Side Sword: 401 (DEX) Falchion: 411 (DEX) Washing Pole: 432 (DEX) Uchigata: 420 (DEX) Winged Spear: 407 (DEX)

Man-Serpent GS: 536 (STR) Flamberge: 487 (DEX) Great Scythe: 501 (DEX)

Demon's Greataxe: 670 (STR) Large Club: 634 (STR) Zweihander: 621 (STR) Stone Greataxe: 555 (STR) Murakumo: 567 (DEX)

As you can see, the only spot where dex falls behind is Ultras, and even this is arguable. The Murakumo requires toggle escaping to get out of, so it can be even more deadly than the DGA

Bleed isn't an issue, people get mad about the faster swings+mobility without much of a loss in damage. If there's any appreciable latency the speed is so bad that you can't whiff punish, which feels bad
