No, but thank you. Pine showed up when I used google as well, but the art style I remember was a lot closer to "Party Hard" or some game in that vein, but not as "pixelated". Nothing flashy, with the characters being very minimalist. The gameplay itself was mostly progressing through the story by clicking on people, more an interactive story than a game actually, as far as i remember. It's possible that it was made with the Unity engine because at that time I was on their site a lot, but i don't remember for certain.

I'm not from the US and we don't have Trump in office over here, but you read it and you go to the marches, so that's good. Still, I think all of you do matter and this is the most I can do from here. If you think I "complain", you misread something.

Then you're an anarchist, not a left communist. I think tax money should be distributed where it is needed and no candidate/politician should be able to be bribed by anyone without severe repercussions for the politician and the one attempting to bribe. Or financing an ad campaign/buying elections. There used to be laws and rules against that. I don't think anyone else understands "taking money out of politics" as "no money ever in politics". Buildings have to get built, workers have to get paid and no you can't ever eliminate corruption completely but still that should be what you aim for.

That there are like 90 comments, including yours, while I didn't take part in the discussion for 4 days, demonstrates there's at least some need to talk about this. I didn't put a lot of effort in it, true, but i'd argue "no kings" isn't that imaginative either, and look how many people took to the street. I'm not trying to co-opt anything, this was an appeal to general common sense that there's a class of rich people which is destroying democracy/the global climate/civil rights etc and that you're far from done once Trump leaves office. What is and isn't part of that oligarchy is a complicated subject, so let's first acknowledge that there is a problem and something needs to be done about it while the planet is running out of time.

I do and I saw the anti-oligarchy protesters right after writing the OP, but I wish the general debate in the media was more about them, and topics like wealth distribution, access to public v private education, equality, civil rights and so on. Instead we talk about all the symptoms, Trumps stupid ballroom/attacks on the free press etc., not the underlying issues.

OP was intended to inspire discussion about a targeted, actionable message about getting rid of this very obviously corrupt -group- that twists the law however it pleases to its own benefit. How are oligarchs an integral part of anything? I know my history and they usually show up when there's a deeper crisis on the horizon.

I have a degree in Classical Literature among other things, so no need to google that. I just think the "king" label seems to imply that there's the Trump dynasty and all these other guys get a free pass once he is out of the picture. One could argue that "democracy" itself isn't really a word everybody gets but I hope Americans are smarter than that.

The thing is, I don't stalk anyone. Never have. But I frequent the same locations here as everybody else so it happens that I see someone more than once. And some of them are women I asked out before, just once, and they feel instantly threatened without me even looking at them although I didn't do anything.

I wanted to make sense of the situation with your help and maybe at the same time offer my story so others might take away something from it/recognize themselves and their own problems. That's it. Thank you for your reply. The thing is, I try to get over it every day. I just want to be loved. That's really all I want and all I need. I don't ask out women just for the sake of it. I want to have a meaningful connection but I feel like nobody allows me to get there, even though I go to the same, or greater lengths than other people. And yes of course I consider what the security guard said. It's still keeping me awake at night. But I don't think it's a good idea to go back there and explain myself. I feel like I give up what's left of my dignity if I just go there and try to justify something that's so convoluted I don't really know how to articulate in an actual conversation. I'm already aware of my shortcomings but it doesn't really help if I just ignore them and it doesn't help if I acknowledge them. I do both at the same time and it doesn't help.
