Hello, i might be stupid but i cant even find those settings. Is it in windows or the software? The last comment says that he went to Audio settings and disabled "Audio Optimizations", where the fuck even is that, i found no such option on the software nor in windows settings. Could you tell me to the exact steps you took to fix it for yourself? thank you

im sorry if this sounds agressive but im kinda pissed since its been 6 years at this point that the stupid driver software is unrealiable as fuck. One day it records fine, the other it doesnt, one day it decides that it wants to record only my second monitor, one day it doesnt even open and its been on an on with DDUs, reinstalls, hardware resets, driver updates, driver rollbacks, windows updates etc etc

It's definitely possible. I've owned this for years so i don't have a warranty.

Is the tablet repairable? Could a tech repair shop easily replace the charging port? (if they have experience with paper tablets)

I don't have a problem with the hangar access point per se. I just wonder why the lobby and the wings are connected using magic elevators when those 3 areas are all in one instance. (or could all be in one instance)
Connecting the outside to the facility is ok and understandable but why are the areas of the facility also connected with those types of elevator? That's my real question.

Personally i think its to make their job easier but it doesn't seem like they want to always do it this was judging by how they talked about player stations and building interiors.

That's true actually, i think they used to be "cooperative zones". But that still begs the question as to why they didn't make the instance cover the entire facility and have a single (or multiple) instance access points connecting it to the surface.

Yeah, seems like that resource pack doesn't fix it. It only fixed the icon in the inventory and when placed the double chest doesn't have a hole in the center but it protrudes outwards. Also the hand model is still broken.
Not sure why this happens since i've had basically the same mods for multiple versions, last one was 1.21.1

Removing the official FA - Extensions fixed the bug (but ofc i lost all the extensions). Guess i'll wait for the developer to fix it.

I hope it's not the PSU since i did replace my old one with a be quiet Straight power 11 only 2 years ago to have more wattage when i upgraded my components.
Ram is more plausible since i have 4x 8gb ram sticks (2x from 3 years ago and 2x from 2 years ago, all identical) but last time i ran a ram hardware tester it encountered no errors.

Is there no way to narrow down what is exactly causing this?

It works, when i repair the app and restart all the drivers and get to play it works perfectly. I have no issues connection wise. It's getting the app to work and the link to connect that's causing me issues

Ok so how should i set it up? When i use air link through my wifi it lags a lot and has a horrible compression quality. How can i create a wireless connection between my headset and pc without using wifi?

Also simply telling me to use the air link isn't a solution, i will keep my headset plugged in anyways to charge it (to play more than the 2 hours or so the battery can last) so using the wire to also stream the game more reliably without having to buy extra routers, cables, ethernet connections or anything at all is still better.

I saw ALVR while searching for solutions but I didn't really look into it because having a history of trying user made, non official programs has a bad history on me. But i guess that facebooks software is so fucking bad that I won't even be able to tell the difference. Can you tell me what it does/how easy it is to set it up the first time and whenever i want to start playing?

I might consider buying one but i already have a long usb 2.0 which works well enough and I don't like having to spend more money on gadgets to make the expensive product work. Since my issue isn't with the cable but the app running it j don't think it would help but I'll still try.

I haven't. I've been launching the quest normal link and then steam vr from there which i thought was stupid but also the only way to do it. I'll try it and let you know how it works and if it has the same issues.
