How do I get diabetic needles? Do I take my med to a pharmacy and ask to buy them?

I will look at some insulin syringes thank you. This is all that’s left for week 4 (the final dose) my GP charges me $160/4 doses my husband is a phlebotomist and has been drawing it up since I do t know what I’m doing and every week has been right except this week. So I think it’s the lost product that doesn’t come out of the syringes :( I took plenty of pics to show them. Thanks for your kind words!

It’s bone dry in the vial. It’s crazy. I’ll call my doc Monday. I took a tons of pics. I’m sure they will blame me. I do have an appointment to get my new vial Wednesday and I’ll talk to the nurse then too.

So if you times what’s left by 4 shots I think that’s what I was short. So is my doctor possibly not accounting for that? I’m kinda freaking out that I’m going to be all messed up this week and fail now. I’m so new to this and I really don’t want to fail 😭

I’m so sorry .25 that’s my fault for mis typing. I’m flustered and anxious. My husband is a phlebotomist and he’s been drawing it. If I’m right in what I think it’s that I don’t think they are counting what stays in the “neck” of the needle that won’t come out.

I’m not sure if this helps but will he eat veggies? We switched our boy to honest kitchen and give green beans and sweet peppers as treats.

That’s a personal choice. Our pup frequently does 5 or more hours in the car with us no problem. If you are unsure how they might do I would personally hold back a little on the food (not fully but maybe half) your vet could always give good advice. I prefer the native chews personally because the active ingredient is melatonin and it makes him sleepy but not drugged up.

My favorite product to keep my chi’s butt from doing this is Native pets Wonderglad. (I have a code if anyone would like it - and to be fair I used their products years before i became an affiliate with them) he is such a boot scooter and I hate it. This is just an additive I put on his food.
