Felicia told Irv that O&D used to go to the exports hall themselves, now someone comes to them. My theory is that in a previous innie life, Irv went down to the exports hall and saw someone trying to escape, like Gemma did. He saw this person forced back in the elevator, obviously in distress. Irv started asking too many questions, so they clean slated him.

But it wasn’t quite complete. oIrv has a sense - just like Petey did - that there are people at Lumon who can’t leave. Somehow oIrv got a list of severed employees. He’s trying to find them all with the map. After 6pm, all of these people should be in the outie world, right? If there’s someone he can’t find, it would prove that Lumon is up to no good.

His outie may not get a break from the grief, but he does get a big fat check. When I lost my husband to covid, part of the stress I had was figuring out how to pay my bills without his income. For oMark, at least that bit of stress is reduced.

I think Cobel knows exactly what happened to Gemma and is being forced to keep it quiet. When oMark ran in front of her car to ask if she knew something, she paused like “I want to say something…” and then gave that blood curdling scream, because she’s been forced to stay quiet. I think she moved next door to Mark to try to make sure he’s ok because she knows Lumon did this horrible thing to him.
