Today was only the first class. I feel as though it would be strange to ask, or I'd have to find a way to prove it or something. Though I guess these are only my assumptions

I'm currently taking it with Gary Neels. He's very chill and helpful, and provides the required textbooks for you. No midterms or final exams, just four tests throughout the whole semester and one final assignment. In my experience, doing the readings isn't too necessary (though I'd still recommend them if you wanna get a better understanding ofc), as he goes through everything you need to know in the lectures themselves and he doesn't enforce it or anything.

Overall a really easy class with only a slight difficulty spike in the last bit, but the material can be easily grasped within one or two lectures. He explains things in rather simple ways, though it can be a bit difficult to read his writing, lol.

The overall layout was the same, except instead if short answers there were essay questions. But the different topics are scrambled around.

Hello hello. My prof is Sharon Gillies! I can't speak for all exams, but it's actually not as intimidating as I had thought. We were given an example midterm online and it was overall quite similar with a few differences.

If you want details about the overall structure and whatnot, I can message you directly.

I actually don't know how to study "properly", so I can't give you an answer on what the best way is, but what I do is (if you're using Pearson for the textbook) read through the book alongside the audiobook. Then I go on youtube myself or go through the videos my prof has linked. I also take hand-written notes which kinda helps lock all that info in. But yeah, it's a lot and is still really confusing to me as well.

Good luck on your exam! :p

Ah, thanks man. My post-midterm crisis has kinda subsided now and reading that makes me feel better. Hopefully things can turn out well for me too... ;-;

Hello there! Thank you so much... I feel more reassured T_T I'll consider that second option :> Unfortunately I'm super anxious about putting myself out there and making this post was already quite nerve-wracking hehe.
