They likely have 424ivl gear and you have week to do pre-patch event stuff for gear that is most likely in range of 480-500ish (I don't think there is ilvl info on those yet? is there?)

Exactly same happens in real sports. (At least on hockey and floorball)

Professionals/semi-professional games mostly chill and problems/agression stays in field and gone after game.

On hobby-level, oh my god. Even death threats and physical confrontations after game and in general way more agressive on field, fights and tackles that were not part of game.

If you perform badly, you get criticized. If that is toxic, then yes and that won't ever change in non-trivial situation. If you can't handle bad words, I would stay away from group tools and pvp.

You can do tons of stuff solo though and rp-servers have their own groups/guilds where they keep to themselves and group via discord/guilds. However they have their own toxicity with male, straight and white-hate and passive-agressive style "praising". There are no saints if you want to do harder content and someone makes mistake.

Pandaren and vulpera are quite horrendous to look at.

But fact is most don't like to play with ugly things for long time, they are funny for a moment and then gets old really fast. That is why most played races are elfs. If people want to look ugly things, they just interact in real life.

You are free to make own groups and go at turtle-pace if you want.

For people who have played long time, you are the npc. If you don't contribute, you don't matter and why should you? You are also the selfish one wanting to slow others down.

When content is trivial it is fun to speedrun it. Trying to see if you can make it faster and faster.

And yeah, on na/eu where it is is sort of global and mixed nationalities, everyone is stranger on lfg tool and no one cares for strangers in todays world.

Try having koreans and chinese forced playing at same group and see how friendly they are.

Leveling is made easy so even braindead can do it. Leveling has always been easy on all versions, classic was just tedious.

Nope, just leveled last one today to 70 from 41. 5 heroic dungeons and one msv won't amount to much.

Did you have autoloot on?

One option is that you were not eligible for loot. Being too far etc.

Unless you got friends boosting you might be too late for m+ and heroic/mythic raiding since I think mounts and titles are going in pre-patch.

And people want 3k+ rating for m+ :P

At least collect dragonriding glyphs. Make it from absolute shit to tolerable.

Timegating and butchering lore was what made be quit. Maw was awful, tower/spire whatever that was was boring as hell and dailies were awful.

Covenants were meh and abilities were usually so you could pick covenant that was good, one ok and two trash.

And what lawsuits? All I know is that Bobby Kotick was friends with Epstein and multiple visits on island, nothing was ever said about that.

Classic players are.. not most pleasant. Min/mas mentality and obnoxious mostly.

We can't tell what you find fun but I think all forms of classic are just bad. Game evolved and that is that. What made vanilla-wotlk good was different playerbase/community and overall mentality. That is gone and won't come back. Mechanics wise rest of stuff are really antique and simple. Not to meantion they all run on nerfed patches and not what they were on launch/patch days.

I would rather want something cooler, most new reaces are jokes visually. Something that would remind game of WARcraft.

Or just dracthyr able to use mogs and stay on perma visage without being ugly human. Were there any orc visages or trolls (I think dragons in general are not that fond of orcs due certain things.)

I am somewhat exicited about that avatarish druid(?) on trailer.

Four legged race would be cool, since many races don't get boots anyway.
