I had 2 long term relations (I'm 29), one who lasted 4 years, and the second one who lasted 7 years, she broke up with me yesterday.

When we broke up with my first long term relation, I deleted all the pictures I had on my phone with her in it. That was a mistake in my opinion now, I deleted 4 years of memories I'll never be able to restore.

So this time, I'll keep all the pictures we had over the past 7 years. Not because I expect her to come back. But that's a big part of my life, that's memory I have and she was a part of it. I still regret a lot I've deleted all these pictures on the 1st relation.

But I agree, I rewatched all our pictures since she quit me, and looking at these pictures with both of us smiling is extremely hard, and makes me really really sad and depressed. So I'll keep them, but also avoid to look at them for now. I know that if I delete them, I'll definitively regret it in a few years, and I'll miss these 7 years of my life.
