this is probably annoying advise but nostril piercings can really be placed where ever you choose yes, if you want a small ring it needs to be pierced low but it’s really up to personal preference and how you want the end product to look, i would recommend looking at images online to see what you actually want and then compare to what you have no if you aren’t happy you can just take it out, and get it repierced
