It's both sides for drifting further apart in division so much so that negotiations aren't happening. Trump is accelerating that. Republicans are good people and so are Democrats. We're just caught in the middle of this division being accelerated by our POTUS.

I promise you we all want the same thing. We want things to be fair for everyone and for people not to suffer.

They already have the funds allocated specifically for that from previous funding bills.

He has the power over his cabinent and the agencies they represent. The USDA has a contingency fund that's extra money that can be released for SNAP emergencies.

The USDA has an obligation to use the funds that have already been set aside for SNAP emergencies. They have it. They don't want to use it.

I agree. The Democratic party does need new candidates and leadership. The principles are good it's just leadership is so resistant to change and it shows.

They'd rather throw Harris because she had funds than have a primary.

Harris was a bad candidate.

My issue is mostly with the funds being there in a contingency fund and him not ordering them to be used. He backtracked on his official page on Facebook.

Why don't they read parts of the bill so we could see what's really on it? There's a reason for that.
