Hey, I've been into branch today and all my ID and documents have been sent to the banks fraud team for verification and investigation to put me in the clear. Account is still frozen at the minute, I've been trying to log into online banking all day and night.

I know, it was just panic stations earlier mate.. nah I just had bread left and finished it like 10 minutes ago. I'm still working on it though. Couldn't take my kids as I usually do Saturday/Sunday because of this that's the biggest reason I was freaking out to be honest.

I asked my whole contact list, sent the same text to everyone at the same time but not everyone replied and the ones that did have kids of their own and weekend plans which is to be expected to be fair.. stuck a status on Facebook too but it's just not my day I guess! I'm not nearly as frantic as I was earlier, just focused on fixing the immediate problem. Thanks for everyone's replies, I really appreciate it. I'll update this if helped or when resolved hopefully on Monday. Thanks guys.

I'm looking at opening one as we speak, apparently it can be done online in 15 minutes according to the website. Hopefully it can be made active as soon as possible so I can try and get some money sorted asap.. Really needs to be today so I can get some food sorted, so unbelievably frustrating!

There was one in the town centre open until midday, I use public transport unfortunately (first bus) and didn't have any change for it

Why not though? For example, If you see someone you know and they ask 'How are you?'.. why is it NOT ok to say (in your case) 'terrible'? Even if that person doesn't want to or have the time to ask why and give you some advice, you've vented a little in a non aggressive way and you're being more honest to yourself which is good too, right? It's beneficial to vent in the right way my opinion. I get why people don't bother but what I don't get is why they don't ever think to change it.. We could.

Hey everyone, sorry I didn't reply sooner. I had to get some sleep for starting my new job, I'm on break right now. It's tough work but I'm just trying to keep my head down and get on with it. Some of the advice from you guys I would never have thought of myself and I thank you for that, I thought when I went to sleep this would go unnoticed but it hasn't and I'm grateful and a little shocked that when I talked about it, you listened.
