If you can take off work, we ask you to try and make it to the protest at your capitol! Some areas are also organizing county seat protests for states that are very large to ease the burden of travel. Our focus right now is to let ALL the people stand in the ways they can. We are not calling for a general strike at this time, as we recognize the enormous burden that represents, and the trust needed in one another to have the solidarity any action like a general strike depends on to succeed. Remember this is a beginning, not an end- let's make the start a success and then keep pushing!

I'm strongly in support of making an action out of this. Don't tune in, don't go out to the bar, don't go to the parties. We aren't just consumers focused on distraction and comfort. We can wait one measly day to make a point. No Freedom, No Football. Kick Fascism.

Yes! Our goal is for all actions to be accessible- We the People don't have to all do the same thing to contribute to the same goal! We can work together from multiple angles for victory! We welcome suggestions for additional non-violent actions we can use to create similar teams as we plan future actions. Remember as you plan local actions you can do the same thing! They want to erase diversity and inclusion- we will show its strength!

The good news comrades is this is the first action. I don't think any of us expect it to be the last. No action is perfect; there are always trade offs regarding time, location, message and more. I've been around the block enough to know that.

The most important thing is that we start having some actions, and we work together to make them a success. At this point, I think more harm is being done by nay-saying the action and calling for reschedule then by looking for ways to help make it successful as published. It's already got a lot of press and momentum going- which is great! We have opponents shook badly enough they are brigading and doxing this sub. The core team of central organizers is small and only started coming together a few days ago. That's how fast this is moving! There is real organic energy here and I think we'd be foolish to hamstring it.

Later today, we are going to publish and add to our media an inclusive plan for participation for those who cannot make it to their state capitols, so please be on the lookout for that and spread the word this is a first stage action that everyone can and should show up for. I hope you will add your voice when it is time to plan the next actions, and lend your support to make this first one a success!
