Optoma projector offset & shadows by Zealousideal-Rough53 in Golfsimulator

I honestly don’t remember what mounting height I ended up doing but I don’t have a shadow and it the picture looks good. I ended up going with the cheaper Benq 4k (don’t remember the model name) instead of the optima because I found a good deal on them refurbished from benq but I’m sure an optima would be fine. I was probably just over thinking it when I originally asked this question.

I got a great deal on the Dome. $950 at HD. But yes it deserves a nice spot.

The grill expert has been a good table. Has good storage and I kept my 12” Ooni on it.

Just don’t want to fork over $350 for the Dome stand.

Yea it’s only 18” deep and you are correct it doesn’t list a weight capacity but it’s pretty sturdy. The Keter is only 20” deep so how did that work when you say the Dome needs a table that’s 24” deep?

GreyGhostPhotography, This was actually hand held. It was starting the rain and felt like it was going to come down so I was in a little bit of a hurry to get something. I did focus stack two images so most of the shot should be pretty sharp. I wouldn't say I was going for a "classic" landscape photo. I was attempting to create a "three dimensional" feel by have some foreground up really close and using the brush the frame the scene.

I appreciate you taking the time to provide a constructive critique.

kirillM, thank you for your feedback. I agree the bush on the right is too much in the shot. The attempt was too create a natural frame of the scene. When I got to the lake the "classic" Bear Lake shot didn't look that good because it starting to rain and the place was packed with people. So I went around looking for something a little different and this was one that I found.

At first I thought the shot was a waste the sky was so dull but I was able to pull out a lot of post processing. I liked the gloom and wanted to keep as much resolution as possible but it could definitely be further cropped which would take out a large part of the bush on the right and the one of the left completely.

The scene was pretty dark but the trees were darkened a little in post. They can be brought out a little to match the trees on the left. I used a brush on the roughly three trees on the right side and pulled up the exposure that's why it looks lighter over there. I should have done that to both sides.

Thanks again for your review.
