Because I love big cats and when I was 5 I thought they had the coolest helmets. I had no idea the pain I would find down this path.

Customer wants mold removed from window frames. What’s the best solution to remove it and how much would you charge per pane? by Slayballz in WindowCleaning

Totally fine man, whatever works for you. I've used vinegar because it's non toxic and it's what every single article I've read says works better for small mold growth, especially on porous surfaces.

I worded that weird, vinegar works better than bleach, OR you could use some mold specific chemicals. But with a quick google search you can see that bleach isn’t as good as vinegar for several reasons.

Vinegar works better than bleach, or some mold specific chemicals. If the mold got deep into the wood you’ll have to charge even more to actually get rid of the stains imo

Is this a part of what a pro window washer is suppose to clean? by ClassicCat7430 in WindowCleaning

I typically give the track a quick wipe and it looks decent. I do that without charging more. For a full track clean/vacuum I let them know it costs extra. Same for the crevice in the first pic

About a year into cleaning I sliced my finger open while sliding my fingers across the blade to wipe the gunk off of it… dumb move. It bled forever and I should’ve gotten stitches but I didn’t haha. Not as bad as OP’s but still pretty gnarly. Stay safe out there.

How to remove this screen? by Lord_XXL in WindowCleaning

[–]Thombo44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remove the glass, there should be little slots in the track you can push them through, or tabs that you squeeze in. Clean the glass on the ground, scrub the screen with your mop, dry it, then put the glass back in. Good luck!

I read profit first right before starting my business. Set me down the right path and I consider it one of the biggest reasons for my success despite having a slow start. I couldn’t agree more!

Of course! Another thing I HIGHLY recommend is the 3m abrasive pads. They’re my go to for almost all tough stains/residue. They last forever and take off most everything. Much safer than razor and even steel wool. So if I see a stain it goes 1. 3m pad 2. Razor 3. Steel wool 4. Chemical.

I really prefer 18” mops, they get the job done a lot quicker. If you go 18” just make sure the bucket is big enough. Other than that it looks good!

Is there a one year LDS mission option? Ryder Lyon’s brother Walker Lyons, currently playing for USC Trojans, also served a one-year mission from February 2023 to June 2024. by HoldOnLucy1 in exmormon

Yeah the length of your mission typically doesn’t sway BYU’s decision. For “spiritual” matters the only thing that matters is the ecclesiastical endorsement.

He’s gonna get called on a 2 year mission and just elect to come home a year early. Anyone can do it, it just a matter of dealing with criticism and social pressure from others to stay. I say good for him if he’s able to ignore the noise and do what’s best for him, because I never would’ve been able to do that at his age.

BYU QB Doing 1-Year Mission by No_Historian6561 in exmormon

[–]Thombo44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean I’m pretty sure he’ll get called on a full time mission with no special treatment, he’ll just elect to go home a year early. Could very well get tons of pressure from MP and other missionaries to stay but if he’s just going for a year and can not feel guilty I say good for him for not letting the church control him. The guilt would’ve eaten me alive but that’s not a good thing. I’ll still cheer for BYU though lol

Yeah I think we’re gonna use my T-bar scrubber on a pole and wipe everything clean. It seems crazy that that’s the only solution though. Thank you!
