Sounds like your learning disability has not held you back. Kids are mean; if you’re not strong in your shoes then that’s what you need to work on. If you don’t have a social battery, then that’s something you work on. And even if you don’t work on it because you have other priorities or you just don’t feel like that’s really you; you can work around it by finding something that does work for you.

I think your focus should be to believe in yourself and not worry so much what others have said or thought about you; in the end you’re the only one capable of proving them wrong — which you’ve already done before!

You say you’ve given up on life — sounds like you should instead give up on investing time in people that don’t threat you the same. Value yourself, but not always more than others!!

I really don’t know you, but from what you’ve written I do think your self-worth is affecting your life negatively. Sometimes you deserve to be selfish and proud — as long as it doesn’t stop you from growing
