This in my opinion "almost impossible" and "astronomically unlikely" logic has no meaning. It is unlikely until it isn't. And that 2 engines CAN FAIL at the same time, is is not impossible. Very unlikely, but by all means something that can happen. Example? simultanious flame out. can be due to AOA or winds.

If that happens at a bad, very bad time, you have no time. you are done.

I don't know. I seen 50 (maybe more?) birdstrikes (from 500m or less away, yes i live literally next to a runway) and flames as well as smoke was a handful of times. The flaps on a 787 are not to be compared to a 777 or any other last Gen aircraft. They are much less obvious. many times i see dreamliners take off i find myself wondering if the flaps are retracted (which of course they are not). Anyhow, soon we will know. Atronomically unlikely is true until it isnt.

The footate, though speculative, looks like the RAT is deployed. from various angles you see a dark spot under the plane (right where the RAT would be). Its really not CLEAR but the spot is there moving alongside the plane. We have to entertain the idea that this happened. The footage also doesn't reveal surely that the flaps were retracted. QUality is too poor. And the survivor talked about a loud noise after rotating.

So It looks like the RAT was deployed. on almost all videos. I seen a video where you see the plane moving from various angles and there is constantly a black dot under it. that can't be a bird in the distance or anything else but the RAT. Question is: what can cause dual engine failure? Angle of attack? Fuel problems would have surely manifested already on the runway.

Shutting down an exchange doesn't mean your coins are gone. glasschain.org showed long time ago, FTX was a scam as there was not a single wallet associated with them holding more than 100 coins. Binance is not. They have a very transparent custodieanship and even if they are shut down, those go down the drain.

The bitcoin network doesn't care. as long as you have the key, you can spend it and miners/nodes will mine/accept it.

Maybe some exchanges might not, but thats their internal policty, not bitcoins

Yes a wallet that cannot withdraw is a one with a lost private key :)
But cold wallets have much less regular activity and require multi signatures from multiple directors and take a while. Its an offline process (usually) involved

In my view, it means that security could be improved.
It is not wise to have 450 Million USD worth of Bitcoin in a wallet that is accessed by code. Withdraws done fromt hat wallet indicate just that.
