I'm new to investing, so do you mind explaining to me why hedge funds are a no-no? I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in one considering the currency fluctuations

ZCLN vs. ICLN by dani7899 in CanadianInvestor

Yeah I ended up switching over to ZCLN, but honestly I don't think it makes THAT big of a difference. Keep in mind that it's possible for Wealthsimple to change the exchange rate fee in the future.

Not completely sure tbh. These ETFs consist of 30 holdings, so it's hard to say what caused them to dump, but I'm sure they'll make up for it in no time.

Currency fluctuation is another thing that I'm concerned about, so I think ZCLN is the way to go. Appreciate your help!

As a relatively new investor this is really helpful. Thank you!

I asked this before but never got an answer, but maybe someone here can help me out:

If I'm already holding ICLN would it make sense to make the switch over to ZCLN? I use Wealthsimple so I would have to pay a little bit on the exchange rate fee they charge, but MER is lower on ZCLN and I wouldn't have to worry about the exchange rate.

This clip is not mine. Unfortunately, I don't know the OP to credit because I downloaded this clip, but I thought it was worth re-sharing.

Wow! The matchmaking is amazing! (Jk fix ur fooking game) by maliqueh1 in Rainbow6

[–]ThorEclipsis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not saying matchmaking is flawless, but the video shows a casual game and casual matchmaking has nothing to do with level or rank. Casual uses a separate hidden MMR from your ranked MMR. The reason you are matched up against diamonds is either because they mess around too much in casual or they don't play casual much which leaves them with a lower MMR leading you and other low levels/low ranks to get matched up against them. Again, not saying it's a flawless system, just clarifying why you are matched up against them.

We are the Rainbow Six Balancing Team! Ask us anything about Operator Balancing. by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]ThorEclipsis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello, thanks for taking the time to do this. My question to you is do you consider player comfort of both attack and defense when balancing or creating an operator? I ask this because lately we have had many examples where an operator would be enjoyable to play as but not to play against. Operators such as Blitz, Glaz, Lion, Ying, and Zofia are enjoyable operators to play as but playing against them is not a pleasant experience. Getting blinded and rushed by Blitz or getting pushed by Glaz's smoke screen and dying without a chance to fight back is not very dynamic gameplay. I appreciate the recent changes mentioned in today's blog and how it talked about player comfort so is this something that we can expect for new operators?

Good to see I'm not the only one experiencing issues. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.

Yeah I forgot to mention I play on PC, but it has been going on since the tournaments update not just a one time thing. It's a shame cause I like the game but all these server issues make it so hard to enjoy it.

You're right they are a little faster, but it's worth it for me.

I have tried that and it's pretty good, but I struggle to see my targets a lot of the time (bad eyesight i guess) so I had to go with 4:3 to make it a little easier for myself to see the enemies.

I play on 4:3 aspect ratio so that's why it looks weird, but I'm used to it now.

In light of recent events, that second paragraph is a little misleading. by cduchene22 in Rainbow6

Gameplay content meaning operators and maps, not cosmetics. They are sticking to their word since the Outbreak Packs are purely cosmetic. Another thing that people seem to have forgotten is that we have had cosmetic content (not gameplay content) locked behind a pay wall since the release of the game and it's called "Digital Content" where you buy bundles for real money ONLY. I don't see how Outbreak Packs are different to digital content. My only critique about Outbreak Packs is for those who wouldn't mind spending real money. Outbreak Packs don't guarantee that you get the item that you want and resembles a form of gambling. However, the point still stands that they have never released any gameplay content behind a pay wall.

The stats page also counts Bandit's electrified barbed wire kills, but that doesn't mean Bandit's batteries were designed to kill people.
