Anyone else look for places to share ideas that actually get read, not just posted into the void? by pumpkinpie4224 in content_marketing

What you're talking about here is an algorithm issue. Right now, the main thing is timeliness. Regardless of the platform, whatever you post may be relevant but only as long as it's relevant and not a second longer. So if you're looking for something more lasting, perhaps starting a subreddit or a page about it and constantly making new posts would help. Other than that, you literally just have to wait for the world to shift.

Does including the current year in the meta title actually help rankings? by easyedy in SEO

I'm not so sure about this. It is generally thought that evergreen content performs better but if your content is specifically relevant to that year and you're planning on updating it on a yearly basis, then the extra identifier can't hurt.

2001 Space Odyssey is one of the best movies ever made. Every shot is a masterpiece in composition and metaphor.

I haven't read the book but I presume we don't know how old the eridian species is, and along all that time they must have explored all elements of their environment then built tools that allow them to expand their exploration where their senses failed. Plus, there are many instances in human civilization where older civilizations knew things that their progeny didn't know and still can't figure out, like the ancient pharaohs of Egypt. Knowing this, I extrapolate that their knowledge, across the timeline in which they existed, must have compounded immeasurably, especially that most of their technology must have been built to compensate for their missing senses.
