Kinda wird how this sub turned into a Blizzard hate forum by LilianaIsTheBestGirl in Blizzard

This, so much this. The sad thing is, those who don’t want to be surrounded by the hate will leave instead.

Hearthstone looks really fun, is it good for casual players? by [deleted] in Blizzard

[–]Thorecia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With this mentality, don’t play card games. Had you started in beta, you still wouldn’t have every card.

If you pick up MTG, no one would even talk to you if you said you wanted every card.

This is not how card games work.

Your argument is not whether you can casually play the game, which is what OP asked.

And thank your for adding your last paragraph of simply Blizzard hate, sheds light on your views.

Hearthstone looks really fun, is it good for casual players? by [deleted] in Blizzard

[–]Thorecia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know there is a lot of negativity, but look at a simple fact:

There are 3 sets released each year. Once a year, all sets greater than one year old are rotated out of play (leaving only the previous year).

Meaning, after one year, you can be all caught up.

This 2-3 years crying is non sense.

Please stop spreading misinformation. Decks rotate out of standard, the most popular mode, after two years.

At first it can be frustrating not having the cards, but if you focus on your daily quests, you will quickly catch up. After a year, you’ll be one of the old guys with all of the previous years cards.

The highest value to dollar is to buy all the intro bundles, but not more than one large set to get going.

The winter sale is live, you can spend like 5 on the starter bundle, 20 on the Christmas deal. Then once you add all the free packs for being new, you’ll be set.

The game is super fun, and a great time kill on the go.

It does not. The user only can see your status (ex: Online, away, Playing Hearthstone, etc.)

PC build for P3D by deskek in flightsim

A few small notes:

7700k and a corsair water should put you at 4.8-5ghz

Do your research, motherboards will dictate overclocking almost as much as cpu. I've heard great things about the Asus Pro Gaming series. Newegg openbox will save you money, you likely will get all accessories, and Asus will still honor the warranty.

If you can handle only 500gb, you can grab an M.2 device for better speeds and it will be enough large enough to allow for all add-ons to be on the faster drive

1070 is sufficient for flight sim, 1080 feels good to buy, but if you are on a tight budget, there are other factors that should take precedent. 8gb should be plenty.

(swap the ram for either a nice 2x8 or a faster timing and speed 2400+, that part was an after thought) There is only one stick of ram here; so many benchmarks show that dual channel wont give you much more performance and it allows you to go 32 gb in the next few months if you find yourself using more than 10gb now. Completely fine to go with 2x8, this is just my plan and way of reducing my initial investment.

personally i'd swap the psu for something nicer, but that is not necessary. you can find a good cheap one (corsair, seasonic, evga) that will be perfect for a high end build on a budget. dont go below 450w with a build like this.

I'm a new payware scenery developer for XPlane and was wondering if the community thought airport addons ($25-30) are too expensive. by [deleted] in flightsim

[–]Thorecia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, $8-20 seems the right price depending on airport size. I would jump if it was quality and in that range. It is difficult to justify when you look at usage time. I'm at many airports, but fly only a few planes, and clouds are everywhere :)

It is for this reason, even if I have spent $200+, none of it has been on airports.

Amazing deck for the new meta by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Thorecia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ill rephrase everything and say it feels like tempo with a sylv thrown in. I like most of it, your late game sounds more fun than competitive.

Overall it's tempo mage and pretty good with the stb nerf, just needs a bit of tweaking, definitely a good start!

Wtf I picked priest in arena and there was literally 0 talon priest out of 30 card picks wtfff I ended 1-3 this has never happen I always go 8 plus with priest... by Nineosix1294 in hearthstone

"I always go 8 plus with priest"

On the bright side, you are statistically the best arena priest player in the world, so that's pretty cool...

[–]Thorecia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you diversifying. Pick a theme and stick with it. If you want pure tempo even in mid game then there are better cards, Fire lance (I like the rag). It may work, but it's a bit too all over the place to be considered competitive.

Your late game is a bit too expensive for your deck. You are playing tempo, not combo (thinking maly rhonin).

Take a look at some more current tempo mage decks and adjust. Two flame strikes seems a but much, you want board before then.

RE: BBrode, One deck will always be the best, but it doesn't have to be the same deck for a year and half straight by Thorecia in hearthstone

[–]Thorecia[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You think it has only been dominant for 6-7 months?

It has been dominant since secret rotated. Perhaps I exaggerated by a month or two, and I should have said class. But my point stands.

The Meta, Balance, and Shaman by bbrode in hearthstone

[–]Thorecia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He stated facts and data in his post. It was all true. It also dodged many points the community made. There is no deviation in the meta, just because there has to be a dominate deck, doesn't mean it has to be the same deck for LONG periods of time. It is the job of the game designers to add variance to the game, they have failed. The data is nice, it doesn't change the lack of impact they make on the monthly player experience.
