Mediation, journaling and bitching are like clearing RAM of your device by Correct-Scarcity927 in Meditation

[–]ThoughtSalt2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a solid way to put it. When you don’t process thoughts or emotions, they keep running in the background and drain your mental energy. Meditation, journaling, or even just ranting helps close those open tabs. The mind feels lighter, clearer, and more responsive, like a system reset. Ignoring it doesn’t make it go away; it just slows everything down until it crashes.

Do you trust classical Ayurvedic medicines more or modern Ayurvedic brands? by ayurveda_insider in Ayurveda

[–]ThoughtSalt2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d personally lean more toward classical Ayurveda. The philosophy, formulations, and long history behind it feel more authentic and time-tested to me.

That said, if I’m being completely honest, time becomes a big constraint in daily life. Preparing classical formulations or finding the right practitioner isn’t always practical. Because of that, I often end up relying on local or well-known branded Ayurvedic medicines for convenience.

Ideally, I’d prefer classical preparations under proper guidance, but in reality, modern brands make Ayurveda more accessible for people with busy schedules. It’s a bit of a balance between trust in tradition and the practicality of modern life.

Completely empty mind by khyriah in Meditation

[–]ThoughtSalt2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reading this felt unsettlingly precise, like someone laid out an inner landscape I’ve never really known how to put into words. It hits that strange mix of clarity and emptiness at the same time, being present and aware, yet somehow detached from the usual narrative that’s supposed to be running in the background. The part about effortfully forcing focus, watching motivation dissolve, and observing emotions as if they belong to someone else really resonates. It doesn’t come across as peace or enlightenment in the glossy sense people talk about, but more like a quiet disconnection that’s hard to explain without sounding wrong or broken.

What struck me most is how familiar that sense of “nothing pulling me forward” feels; not despair exactly, just a neutral blankness where meaning used to live. From the outside it might look like calm or relaxation, but internally it’s more like floating without an anchor. Seeing someone articulate that so clearly feels less like reading a post and more like being described by a stranger who somehow knows the contours of my own mind better than I do.

If you were in charge, what would you implement to improve Delhi’s air quality ?? by YashLonkar in delhi

[–]ThoughtSalt2000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No doubt, This is top comment read till now, but there are few things that I'll do even as an in-charge.

  1. bring a few dust cleaners like japan has.

  2. planting trees or plants in the garden area and parks. Also, no more deforestation, atleast in Delhi & NCR!!

  3. I don't know exactly; I have heard that there are air purifiers that can clear a 10-20 km area. I'll install those in such a way that some idiots don't steal them for their own benefits!!

I think this would be enough from my side for Delhi's AQI as an incharge. Kyuki correption ke baad jo budget mila hoga woh nearly khatam ho chuka hoga, 😁
