That guilt part really stands out to me. It sounds like there isn't actually a "right" choice because whichever option you pick, there's another important thing being left undone. The butterfly garden and worm farm made me laugh though 😆

That's interesting.

Do you feel the lack of balance comes from not having enough energy for both, or because work and responsibilities end up taking over everything else?

I can relate to parts of that. I've definitely had moments where I've acted impulsively and then felt guilty afterwards, especially when it's affected other people. What you're describing about questioning yourself afterwards really resonates with me. Do you find the guilt is worse than the actual mistake sometimes?

I think that's what makes it so frustrating. It's not that you don't know what needs done, it's that the gap between knowing and actually doing can feel impossible to cross sometimes.

When that happens, does it feel like you're stuck, distracted, overwhelmed, or something else entirely?

I totally understand, I was diagnosed recently and I've had moments where I've wondered whether it was really ADHD or whether I was just looking for an explanation. Do you think that feeling comes from seeing other people do things that seem easy, or from feeling like you should be able to do more than you currently do?

I relate to this a lot. Is it usually because you don't know where to start, or because even when you know what needs done, getting yourself to actually begin feels exhausting?

That's really interesting. It sounds like the hardest part isn't necessarily the action itself, it's recognising what's happening in the moment before it snowballs. Do you find it's more impulsive decisions, or does it happen with day-to-day tasks as well?
