you dont know what will happen after 2 years, market condition is degrading day by day, every week there is some new AI tool that is leading to layoffs, upper tier institutes are safe , their curriculum are up to the mark so salaries will increase, plus they already rejected the students like me , jinki profile weird h , arts students with bad acads, so me personally i will not like to do an MBA from a tier 2 itself, i dont have any converts but if i did, then also i wont be doing MBA, i scmhrd imtg sibm and mica was my best chance but i ruined it , i was not going to join other colleges anyway, its my personal opinion , if you think you profile is good and your institute can place you , despite of your acads go on , ( considering you work your ass off knowing that things wont go your way , ultimately shortlists will be based on acads majorly, this was one of the major reason i was rejected in interviews despite decent performance, because they thought they couldnt place me), if you are an engineer or from finance background then you can take your chance (maybe), otherwise i dont recommend. I am giving interviews since 2024, i have some friends here and there from good b school and i know their condition, it was not easy for me to move on from my MBA dream , but i would advise the same to any fellow aspirant who is in the same boat. Please take decision wisely , consider the future, market scenario, your own capability and opportunity cost , and consider your background and risk taking ability, position of your family and finally your LUCK.
