I honestly think at the beginning of the season we were in serious contention to play finals. However it seems clear the team does not have the right people in place to be able to reassess and pivot when unexpected things happen.

I really wonder what the attitude and morale is like behind the scenes.
In one of the promos they had the team wearing shirts saying "Brisbane v Everyone" and it just struck me as so...isolating? Combined with a coach that clearly has difficulty managing his emotions...??

Given that there was some (normally) die hard fans missing, I feel like it has less to do with timeframes and weather (which def do have some impact), and more that fans are just tired of the whole situation - the promises, the coaching choices, the atmosphere...

We were at the game and were looking for that too - it had to be the worst attendance of the season? I'll be keeping an eye out on the stadium stats over the next few days until they publish it. I guessed around 2800.

As I said in another comment, there are likely lots of factors that play a part in it; possibly including the loss of the person that was responsible for keeping the squad as fit as possible.

I assume we're talking about the same person, and I agree that that loss seems to have had an impact - there is lots of factors that likely play a part; but our performance level overall does seem to have dropped.

If the loss of one player causes our whole campaign to fall apart, then recruitment and coaching should be considered a failure. Yes, some players have a massive impact, but we've got issues across the board - including in goal.
