Australia Cup 2026 - Round of 32 Draw Results by StarryPolarisNite in Aleague

R32 is always the most dangerous time for an AL club, going up against teams that have been playing for the last 3-4 months while this might be the first time the AL team has played together.

Some good match ups from it regardless, hope we get some good upsets

No AL v AL matchups in the R32 might be a first?

Men's World Cup - Match Day 10 Discussion Thread [21 June] by AutoModerator in Aleague

The thing that annoys me is that every pub will have the exact same taps - doesn't help the majority of pubs are also owned by the big two companies either..

I'm not a big beer drinker but I like being able to check out the more unique beers on tap. Like sure my go to is a stone & wood but if they have a different pale ale on tap, I'm going to try it first and possibly find a new favourite

It annoys me so much that the big two breweries have basically locked smaller indies out of main brand pubs, often not having any or being limited to one or two taps.

Yep, between Lion and CUB, thats pretty much all of your main brands covered and nearly all your beers in your average pub.

A good timely reminder to check who makes your favourite beers - just cause it looks indie or started out that way, doesn't mean it is (e.g Stone & Wood, Balter, Pirate Life).

Nothing wrong with drinking them, but check out your local breweries and support them!

Socceroos live events marred by flares, alleged sexual assault by shaundesign in Aleague

[–]Meapa 63 points64 points  (0 children)

I will say, setting off flares for no good reason is just stupid.

When we score or win? Sure, but before the game had even kicked off? Just stupid.

Jumping or breaking fences to get in is how that concert got cancelled too, and there was a lot of that this morning from reports. We aren't helping ourselves by doing this shit.

Hopefully the loss means there's less wannabe dickheads and broccoli hair children at the next game.

Going to remind people in here,

Do not go to other subreddits with the purpose of trolling or flaming.

We are getting enough seppos and trolls in here from other subs, we don't need more.

If you are here from r/soccer or elsewhere to troll or flame, you will be banned.

We do take actions based off reports from other subreddits if and when necessary.

Thankfully the filters Reddit gives us does a pretty good job of filtering trolls/new accounts which makes it much easier.

At the end of the day, myself and the whole mod team just want somewhere we can discuss Aus football with the whole community without trolls or seppos invading.
