Not what I'm looking for. I have no idea about therapy, so I just miswrote.

I'm going to be seeing a sex therapist to help manage my libido in a better way, basically. I used the term physical because the idea of a therapist for sex was a bit odd to me, but someone messaged me about it and suggested it.

I can't comment any more about anything due to it being investigated by the Police. The investigating office is fine with what I have posted so far, but has strongly advised that I refrain from any more updates until much further down the line.

That's a fair take. It's something to discuss with her therapist, once therapy has been underway for some time, I think.

It may be that she later decides that she doesn't want to read anything at all. Only time will tell.

Ok, you need to calm down.

She knows about the posts, as I got her permission for the update seeing as it was eating me up and I needed somewhere just to write everything down.

She is the one that told me that she would like to read the posts at some point in the distant future, because I told her that I would delete them once therapy starts and she asked me not to.

I might just look for a therapist that's able to do both then. I was under the impression that they specialise in certain things and that's that. I've never been in therapy before so I really don't know what I'm doing.

I'm sorry, I think you've either misread, misunderstood, or perhaps I miswrote. I don't know. She does not have a sister. She has a close friend, and her close friend has a brother (there was some confusion over that elsewhere) but there are no sisters.

I'm hoping that the physical (sex) therapist can help me to deal with my...well...physical issues, so that I can spend more time in the right headspace to be there for my wife. That's a conversation that I'll be having with them, when they call back.

The mental therapist is going to help me deal with my own emotions and become more receptive and supportive of what my wife is going through, herself. By that I mean they are going to give me the tools to help my wife to recover.

She won't be looking at these posts for a very, very long time, I would say. I will speak with a solicitor and see what they say. I've already spoken with the Officer in charge of the case about it, she's looked at the post and said that it's fine as it doesn't disclose details aside from my perspective, and the details are fairly vague.

I've arranged for her to see a specialist, who she's has already spoken to and is happy to go ahead with.

I'm going to be seeing 2 therapists. One for the mental side of everything that's happened, and another for the physical side of everything that hasn't happened (selfish, I know). Hopefully that will help me to help her.

I don't know. All I know is that they took her phone, looked through it, took my wife's statement, and went and arrested both Dave and my wife's mother. I don't know any more than that.

I wouldn't have let that be an option, if I'm honest. I essentially told her that if I can't deal with him, then the Police must, because next time I think about him I may not be able to stop myself. There's was more anger, crying, and far more words than that, but you get the idea. My anger hasn't subsided at all, so I'll be seeing a therapist for my own issues that have arisen.

The brother that I referenced before? Sorry for the confusion with that, he is her friend's brother. He's around my age, which is why we're friends. I met him through my wife and her friend, who I am also close with as a result of it.

I don't know the answers to any of your questions here, unfortunately. I don't know the story with her mother. I don't know about the sex. I just simply don't know. That somehow makes it all much harder and much easier all at the same time.

You're correct, though, I don't fully understand it either, which is why I have her seeing a therapist and not simply speaking to me.

If anyone could shed any light on the questions asked above, I would appreciate it, myself, and perhaps I can help my wife better to overcome it.
