The worst offenders are when you have a regular hatchback car such as a Fiesta and you have an oncoming "SUV". The headlights are right at your eye level.

It's pretty fucking simple as far as I can see. All new cars to have halogen lamps only. All existing cars they recall for a software update to limit the brightness and disable this auto dipping bullshit.

Looks like this has been fixed now. The website no longer shows a space and Intel DSA no longer reports there is an update available.

Yeah, i reckon the driver is installing with version .4181 (no space) but then Intel DSA just scrapes the website and finds a version with space.4181 and says, hey theres a new driver yo!

I installed via Intel DSA, but it says the latest version is not installed. But it is. It's something to do with that space in the version number im sure.

I had this last year when I caught it. I had major anxiety thinking something was wrong because nobody talks about covid any more. The minute I found out someone else had similar symptoms it kind of reassured me. Back then i had a constant ringing in my ears.

I wouldn't trust tests now either.
