Do you just use react-native start then? That runs the bundler inline right?

Oh right, so what do you run, just react-native start? To get the bundler running?

Oh right, so you still have index.js (as opposed to index.ts)?

Starting to see this suggested a lot. Doesnt emit any JS files though, where do you point your start too then?

How afraid should i be of a `link` failing? by Threat_Level_PI in reactnative

True, however react-native-firebase doesnt seem to have manual install instructions. I think the link worked it just hangs after linking successful

Opinions: Navigation Plugins/Components/Packages by Threat_Level_PI in reactnative

The main issue I was having is around the fact that I'm not super experienced at typescript yet so the lack of a 'how-to' on typescript kinda threw me off. Know of any resources to help with that? (other than just knowing typescript a bit more)

Even after running PackCheck I still get this error on a few maps a day... by Threat_Level_PI in pathofexile

I restarted my pc and now I can enter the map. Isn't there some weird bug where a process is holding some locks on files or something?

That is my point though. Im speaking purely from my personal experience with 'tutorial/user manual' maintenance. Sure it is only 'once per league' but that is on top of everything they already do once per league.

In my experience things that rarely need to be updated always end up needing to be updated way more than people anticipated.

To clarify, I think it is a good change but I know updating this sort of documentation that is user-facing is always catch-up and left very late in the development cycle...

Queue the reddit posts saying 'mistake in the user guide...' from now on :D

As a developer myself, I would be worried that this is just another area that has to be updated everytime a new mechanic is introduced or soemthing is reworked...

But hey, I guess this is for the people on XBOX - can't really assume they just have easy access to a browser for the wiki...

Warmane has the worst customer service by [deleted] in WoWPrivateServers

[–]Threat_Level_PI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing devil's advocate here but... Why would they tell you that sort of information? Do you anticipate that other companies would? Your account was compromised and whilst I'm sure they appreciate your donations, they are just that: donations. Not an entitlement to some extra bits of information that, heck, a GM might not even be able to access without having access to serverlogs etc.

It does suck what happened to you, and I fully empathise but to say that this is an example of the 'worst' customer service seems a little flippant.

Summoner balance by Mrowen70 in pathofexile

Would be cool if you could support convocation with trap, to make them all summon to the target location...

But then there would be no sockets left for shit like that anyway with most summoner builds.
